For MileIQ subscribers
Keep your log. Lose the price hikes.
Own Miles Pro is $29.99 a year, and switchers pay $14.99 for the first. The price you start at is the price you keep.
Why people are switching
- Price. Pro is $29.99 a year, $3.99 a month or $79.99 once. An active subscription's price is never raised.
- Privacy. No account and no servers. Your drives stay on your iPhone and in your own iCloud.
- No drive limit. The free version logs every drive, every month. Pro is for the tax-time PDF, rules, more than one vehicle, and the Apple Watch and Mac apps.
- A record that holds up. Every edit to a trip is kept with when it was made, and goes in the log you give your accountant, so the record shows it was kept at the time.
The switcher offer: $14.99 for your first year
Your first year of Own Miles Pro costs $14.99, then $29.99 a year after that. The offer code goes live with Own Miles on the App Store and will be posted here. Join the beta and we'll send it to you on launch day.
Time your switch to your MileIQ renewal date so you don't pay for both.
Bring your drives
- Export from MileIQ. On MileIQ's website, open your drives, pick the dates you want (the tax year so far, say), and download them as a CSV spreadsheet.
- Save it where your iPhone can see it. In Files, on iCloud Drive or another place the Files app opens.
- Import in Own Miles. Settings, Data, Import trips, then choose the file. Own Miles reads MileIQ's columns, shows how many trips it will add and the first few, and leaves out any drive that's already in your log.
- Check and save. If a column was read wrong, change it on the same screen. Imported trips keep their category and purpose, and any still unclassified wait in Review.
TripLog, Everlance and Stride exports, and any spreadsheet with a date and a distance column, import the same way.
Then cancel MileIQ
If you subscribed in the App Store, cancel in your iPhone's Settings, under your name, Subscriptions. If you subscribed on MileIQ's website, cancel there. Export your drives before you cancel.
